READY TO GO! -  I am now working full-time on setting up the business and am able to take bookings (we will open for business from 2nd August 2008) - credit card facilities will be available shortly.

We offer tailor-made walking holidays based from our home at the foot of the Devizes White Horse.

Whether you wish to walk The White Horse Trail or explore the many other walking opportunities in the county, you can rest assured that we will do everything we can to ensure your holiday is a success. 

Our White Horse Trail holidays usually last 6 nights, from Sunday afternoon to the following Saturday morning. You could choose to walk approximately 50 miles over 5 days, either the Northern or Southern loop of the Trail, or you may wish to walk longer distances. It's completely your choice. Daily transport is included, as are mobile phones in case you finish your walk earlier or later than expected.

You may prefer to try some of the many circular walks in the area, most of which include opportunities for pub lunches. You can get straight onto a walk from our front door or have even more choice by driving a few miles first.

If you are interested in walking the new Mid-Wilts Way, please ask for further information. We hope to offer this option during 2009.

 

NO CAR?

  • If you'd like a car-free holiday, we can provide transport to and from any railway or bus/coach station/stop in Wiltshire.
  • If you walk the White Horse Trail, we will take you to your start point every morning and collect you at your finish point later in the day. We have split the trail into 2 convenient parts, North and South loops. Each is roughly 50 miles, perfect for 5 days' walking. Of course, you can walk further if you prefer.
     
  • There are many other walks starting right outside our front door or you can bring your car and explore further afield.

We will provide an evening meal for walkers arriving on Sundays, giving you more time to settle in and plan your next day's walks or excursions.

Daily packed lunches will be provided for Trail walkers as a matter of course. 

Other walks will usually take you close to one of Wiltshire's many pubs offering excellent lunches, or you can order a packed lunch if you wish.

We will discuss your individual requirements and will then tailor your package to suit you and your fellow guests.
