We will set you up for the day with a good breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, toast and a cooked option. That will be traditional English or an alternative such as pancakes, muffins, smoked salmon, haddock and poached egg, continental pastries etc. I'm currently working on the menu.

If you are walking The White Horse Trail, we will provide you with a substantial picnic lunch as you will not necessarily be within easy reach of pubs. Please bring your own flasks if you would like to take a hot drink with you. The majority of circular walks will include info on places to eat but we can provide a packed lunch if you prefer, at a reasonable cost.

On your arrival back from your day's walking or touring, you will be greeted with tea or coffee and home baked cake or biscuits.

In the evening, make your choice between a number of local eateries. Whatever you fancy eating, you will probably find a suitable venue within a couple of miles. There are numerous pubs selling excellent food as well as specialist restaurants. We can provide recommendations and menus to help you choose. If you have chosen a no-car holiday, I can provide transport into Devizes in the early evening but you would need to walk or take a taxi back again.

We will provide a meal on Sunday evenings to allow everyone to relax and get to know each other at the start of the holiday. This is included in the price.

Occasionally we will hold Friday evening barbecues here at Southdown.

More information will be posted here soon.
