Cookery Classes
Many of our guests have enjoyed wonderful meals at local restaurant, The Bistro. The Bistro ran cookery classes from time to time but have now opened a new cookery school a short walk (or a 1 mile drive) from us. I have been on one of Peter Vaughan’s courses and it was really good so I can recommend them personally. For more info, see their website here or give me a call and I’ll send you a leaflet.
Marlborough College Summer School
I can also recommend Marlborough College’s Summer School which this year runs from 22nd July to 11th August with courses covering just about every topic you could imagine. It’s an easy and pleasant drive from here to Marlborough so worth considering staying here - accommodation close to the school is limited. Info on the Summer School can be found here.

While this is a very useful tool, it doesn’t always tell the whole story. If you’re looking for several nights in a row, we may show up as being full when in fact we are not. This is because we may have a night or two available in different rooms and can sometimes change things around to accommodate everyone happily. So if in doubt, do check by phone or email and we will see if we can re-arrange things.
